little honey haus

WELCOME!

I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE!

HERE’S A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME AND WHAT LITTLE HONEY HAUS IS ALL ABOUT!

I grew up in the Willamette Valley in an old farm house that people often called the honey house. This is where the namesake for this creative business of mine came from, an homage to the people and place that made me who I am today.

I left the small town I’d grown up in to learn how to become a storyteller. This journey opened the door for me to meet and become friends with people all around the world. I learned how to document and capture the lives of people through both photography and documentary film projects. Now, I use that same camera to document the lives of those closest to me.

After my travels I returned home to begin my life back here in Oregon. My parents and I set out to build a tiny house for me to live in after my travels, and to this day is one of the greatest gifts I’ve been given was their work and vision for it. Once completed, we named here ‘Little Honey’ since she has bits of pieces of the home I grew up in along with salvaged wood from the middle school my mom went to, an heirloom with history that stretches beyond my own. With my tiny house in tow, I made my way across the Cascades to my new home in Central Oregon, and haven’t left since.

Whether you’re here because you love flowers, or are intrigued by the ceramics wares, or perhaps you’re interested in documenting some of your favorite moments with your loved ones, I look forward to getting to know you and I’m excited to have you here.

Take a closer look behind the magic…

Flowers

I grew up creating arrangements from the flowers that grew in my mom’s garden every year.

Growing older, as my friends got married, I would be asked to create their bouquets for their wedding day. Each one unique and designed to emulate them in floral form.

Now, I offer arrangements, design services and consultations that reflect 5 years of experience in the floral industry working with clients and local businesses.

Ceramics

I found my parents clay tools in the cellar. I would take them on trips to the coast and try to create vessels from the clay I’d found, that was the beginning for me.

IT WASN’T UNTIL COLLEGE THAT I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO VENTURE INTO THE WORLD OF CERAMICS.

SINCE THEN, IT’S BEEN A PLACE OF SOLACE AND INSPIRATION FOR ME, AND IT’S BEEN A DREAM TO SHARE WHAT IS CREATED OUT OF THAT SPACE WITH OTHERS.

Photography

growing up, The walls of my room were lined with pages I’d torn from my dad’s National Geographic magazines.

I went on to travel the world documenting people’s lives and stories.

Today, I capture the sweetness of Life’s moments here in Oregon, and beyond.
